How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Carmenta Lou is committed to handcrafting you stories in gold. To tell the most beautiful tales possible, all items are made to order, which means that shipping to the Netherlands may take between 1 to 4 weeks from the date of your purchase. International shipping may take longer depending on the courier service.

Is it possible to order personalized items?

It is possible to make minor changes to the existing collection, like using different stones, sizes or finishes. This may come with a slightly different price than the original pieces. If this is something you would like, please always get in contact with me. Together we can figure out what is possible.

Do you use Gold plating?

No, I do not use gold plating. At Carmenta Lou, all the tales are crafted from 14k solid gold (18k available upon request). Gold plating does not align with my vision of creating lifelong pieces to cherish, as the plating tends to wear away over time. Every Carmenta Lou piece is designed to last a lifetime.

Where does the name Carmenta Lou come from?

Carmenta was a Roman goddess, tied to birth, prophecy, and protection. She was believed to have the power to predict the future and was associated with the concept of change and transition, making her a significant figure in Roman mythology.

Lou is a very special girl, who is the reason behind me doing what I truly love.

These two combined are the essence of what I want my brand to be about: beauty born from love, providing a sense of security in an everchanging world, to be able to be who you truly want to be.
